Madhya Pradesh (MP) is the heart of India and it is tourism paradise. It is believed as oldest part of the subcontinent; therefore, we can find many history places, cities, monuments etc in this state. Bhopal is capital of Madhya Pradesh and its biggest city is Indore. Main attraction of MP includes Gwalior (tourism capital of MP), Khajuraho temples, Ujjain (Religious City), Tribal life, forest life etc. There are many great adventures waiting all tourists because of uniqueness of Madhya Pradesh Tourism. We always have numbers of memories associated with the town or place where we are born; similarly, I have many memories associated with my birthplace i.e. Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh. Old name of Mandi is Mandav Nagar and it is also known as Sahor. Mandi is a city situated on the bank of river the Beas and it is surrounded from all sides by the hills. Historical Shakti Devi Wooden Temple Read in Hindi My visit to Bharmour in Chamba was filled with lots of excitement and thrill because of the tough terrain and narrow roads. The most difficult drive was to reach Chhatrari to see the Historical Shakti Devi Temple. Chhatrari village is situated 40 KM from Chamba (HP) on the Chamba-Bharmour Road. I decided to visit this place on the return journey from Bharmour. The road to Chhatrari is a steep ascend and you need to be very cautious while driving on this road. However, once you reach there, it is a paradise and you find it very peaceful. The temple is situated at a distance from where the road ends and you need to travel through the village to see the temple. Pictures of My Village in Rainy Season

Being in Himachal in rainy season provides a great opportunity to witness many beautiful views. Recently, I visited my village situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and stayed for one day. It rained almost whole day and provided great opportunity to enjoy fresh and humid breeze. At village, we have old ancestral home build in old Himachali style with black slate top which creates beautiful rain music during rains. My village looks very alive and beautiful during rains. Next month, I am again planning to travel to my village and enjoy rains with my family. Below, I am sharing some of pictures of my village from this visit.

Journey to Hill Station Paneu (Paneo) and Naag Temple (Lesser Known Gem of Hills)

 I always love to visit hilltops because they provide the ultimate beauty and adventure. My journeys to Hatu Peak Narkanda ,  Prashar Lake in Mandi , and to the ancient wooden temple of Skhati Devi in Chhatrari  are some of its examples. This time, I got a chance to visit an ancient Naag Temple situated at Paneu (Paneo) hill station where a British rest house is situated. This hill station and Naag temple are situated 7 KM away from Kungash in Anni Tehsil of Kullu. The ancient Naag Temple is situated at walking distance from the main top and gets a chance to walk through the tall (some are around 50 feet of height) deodar (Pine) Trees. The last six-kilometer road to the Paneo is not metaled and it is very narrow at some points accompanied by a steep climb.
