 I always love to visit hilltops because they provide the ultimate beauty and adventure. My journeys to Hatu Peak Narkanda ,  Prashar Lake in Mandi , and to the ancient wooden temple of Skhati Devi in Chhatrari  are some of its examples. This time, I got a chance to visit an ancient Naag Temple situated at Paneu (Paneo) hill station where a British rest house is situated. This hill station and Naag temple are situated 7 KM away from Kungash in Anni Tehsil of Kullu. The ancient Naag Temple is situated at walking distance from the main top and gets a chance to walk through the tall (some are around 50 feet of height) deodar (Pine) Trees. The last six-kilometer road to the Paneo is not metaled and it is very narrow at some points accompanied by a steep climb. In this article, I am going to share some of the precautions which one should take before going to a hill station. These precautions are very important for people going first time to a hill station. We go to a hill station for enjoyment; however, with a small mistake our whole journey can got spoiled. Hill stations are very good place to visit; however, sudden changes in weather can create problems for us. Also with increase in height amount of oxygen in air also decreases. Ooty is the one of most beautiful and famous hill stations in India. It is also known as Udhamandalam and located in Western Ghats. Its height from sea level is 2240m. Ooty is headquarters of Nilgiris district. The major plantations in Ooty are coffee and tea. Also some plantation of trees like conifers, eucalyptus and pine are done.
