To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar (Pics of Beautiful Scenery on the Way and my Experience)

Shimla, Nalagarh, Ramshehar, Kunihar, Himachal, Car Drive,

I always love to travel by the roads less travelled because by doing so I get a chance to see things which are still hidden from the most of people. On my single day journey to Shimla from Ropar (Punjab) for some work, I decided to travel on the State Highway 16 by following the route Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar instead of going through the National Highway (NH) 5. Not only this route was shorter by 40 KMs, but I was also expecting some adventure on the way.

Clouds, Way, Shimla,

This journey become a quite exciting and thrilling because I was travelling on this route in the month of July on a rainy day. Though, I was aware that this is a single road and I may face landslides if rain continued. Still, I was ready for the adventure and I started my journey early in the morning on Tata Indigo eCS. Till nalagarh, I faced heavy rain but rain slowed down as I crossed Nalagarh. The weather was very fine and it was drizzling throughout the journey.

Beautiful, Scenery, Way,
Beautiful Scenery on the Way

I saw many new places on the way and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Due to rain and clouds, everything started looking very beautiful. At some places road condition was not fine and there were mild landslides but still whole journey was good. Though, I want to advice that travelling on this route in the month of July or in rainy season is risky and may cause delay due to landslides. But, It is also true that you need to take some risks when you want to see something extraordinary.

Pine Tree, Clouds,

On the one side, Rainy season increases the risks for driving and on the other side, it makes everything look very beautiful. I reached Shimla by 11 AM and greated by the clouds. Whole of the Shimla was in the cover of clouds and visibility was quite low still very enjoyable. I finished my work in Shimla by 5 PM. However, while for the return journey, I didn't take SH16 and decided to opt NH5 instead because of night driving is risky on the narrow SH16 as compared to NH16 which is a wider road.
To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar

I will rate journey as one of my best day journeys and I will love to repeat it again. Driving is a fun and such unplanned routes can be very thrilling.

Har Ki Pauri (Ganga Ghat, Maya Puri) Haridwar Journey with Pictures

As a Hindu, you get many chances to visit this place because it is associated with the last rituals of a person. So every year millions of Hindus from across India visit Har ki Pauri (Ganga Ghats). I have visited this place many times. It is mandatory in Hindus to put the last remaining of a person in Ganga at this place. I did this for my Father, mother, aunt, and Dadiji. Nowadays I have seen lots of improvement in these areas and surroundings. The current government is working hard to make this place and city clean and convenient for the devotees.

In these pictures, we can see the beauty of the holiest place of India Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar. Not only for last rituals but people also come here every day from all parts of India to pay homage to the river Ganga because river Ganga is believed to be the holiest river following in India. Scientific studies have also found that the water of the Ganga river is very healthy because of the presence of many types of minerals. Even the Mughal …

Exciting Journey to the Hatu Peak and Hatu Maa Temple, Narkanda (Shimla)

Today, I will discuss another journey to the top of a hill, earlier, I shared my journey to Prashar Lake, Shakti Devi Temple, and Tracking to Bharmani Maa Templewhich all were situated on the hilltop. When a person goes to a hill station then he loves to see hills and peaks. There are some peaks around us that are accessible by the road and one such beautiful peak is Hatu Peak near Narakanda (Himachal). People can easily reach the top of the hill by a narrow road which becomes slippery in the snow. Like most of the peak, the Hatu peak does give a great glimpse of the valleys and hills around. On the top, we can find the wooden temple of Hatu Maa.
The wooden temple shows the beauty of craftsman skills and gives us an opportunity to see the style of temples in this area. Hatu Peak is the famous and second highest peak in the Shimla region and the good point is that we can reach this point in our car; therefore, many people visit this place. The road to visit the Hatu peak is very narrow…

Tracking to Maa Bharmani Temple situated on the Hilltop (Sansal, Baijnath)

There are many beautiful places around us which are still not connected by the road and we can reach these places by tracking. At my native house in village Mandher (Baijnath), I used to see a small village on the hilltop from childhood and I always thought about reaching this place one days. My requests to reach there in childhood were not accepted by my parent because they thought it is too danger for a child to visit it. From my village, this place is situated at a sharp climb which makes the journey difficult. The only way to reach this place is by foot because this place has no road connectivity because of its location on the hilltop. Thanks to few friends, I started my journey to reach a small yet beautiful temple of Maa Bharmani situated at the hilltop. We took with us water, prepared tea, cooked food and maggi. It was wise decision to carry some water and eatables because these locations can be very hostile and we may not find any person on the way. There are two ways from vill…

High Definition Beautiful Pictures of Khajjiar (Lake and ground) Chamba

There will be hardly any person in India who have not heard about the beauty of Khajjiar. Due to its beauty, Khajjiar is also referred to as the mini Switzerland of India. Every year millions of Indian and foreign tourists visit this place. Some stay at this place for a few hours while others stay for one to two days.  Khajjiar comes in the Chamba circuit of tourism in Himachal Pradesh and it is one of the most visited places in Himachal Pradesh. In the Chamba circuit, I have already covered the Historical Shakti Devi Wooden Temple Chhatrari. In my review, Khajjiar is definitely a great place to visit and spent some quality time. However, I will advise you to avoid this place during the peak tourist season because you may find yourself crowded with tourists.

I was lucky to have found some free space for myself during my visit. Khajjiar is a very big green grass ground with a small lake that is surrounded by tall deodar trees. Because of the high altitude location, the weather remain…
