Punjab is a state of Saints and Fakirs, therefore, we find many famous places of religious belief. Dera Baba Murad Shahji is one similar famous religious place situated in the Nakodar town of Punjab. Every year millions of people from across Punjab and other parts of the world come to get the blessing of Baba Murad Shah and Sai Gulam Ladi Shah. Both are believed to be Sufi saints and are revered by followers from various religious backgrounds, including Muslims and Hindus. The shrine of Baba Murad Shah is a popular pilgrimage site and attracts devotees seeking blessings, healing, and spiritual solace.

Devotees visit the shrine to pay their respects, offer prayers, and seek the saint's intercession for their wishes and desires. This place is just 24 KM away from the popular town of Jallandhar. I visited this place two times and found this place very peaceful and calming. People can enjoy the tea langer constantly served at the shrine. There is a pond and garden on the one side of the shrine. Overall, it is a great experience to visit this place and take the blessings of Baba Murad Shahji and Sai Ladi Shahji.

To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar (Pics of Beautiful Scenery on the Way and my Experience)

I always love to travel by the roads less travelled because by doing so I get a chance to see things which are still hidden from the most of people. On my single day journey to Shimla from Ropar (Punjab) for some work, I decided to travel on the State Highway 16 by following the route Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar instead of going through the National Highway (NH) 5. Not only this route was shorter by 40 KMs, but I was also expecting some adventure on the way. This journey become a quite exciting and thrilling because I was travelling on this route in the month of July on a rainy day. Today, I will be giving you an opportunity to see the glimpse of famous and international Shivratri festival held every year in Mandi near the Bhootnath temple. This fair lasts for seven days and starts on the Shivratri day. This fair is attending by hundreds of local deities and millions of people from across the world.
