Himachal Pradesh is popularly known as the state of Gods because of so many temples of different Gods and deities present here. So many famous pilgrim places and shrines are in Himachal Pradesh and every year millions of devotees come to visit these places. In every corner of Himachal Pradesh, we can find a famous or historical temple. I am also bringing to you my collection of some of the famous temples of Himachal Pradesh. All these temples are captured by me on my camera. You can learn more about these temples by clicking on the temple image itself. In these temples, you can see a huge variation in design, style, and material used. The oldest and ancient temples are either made up of stone or wood and they are standing stable on the ground for so many years which shows the high skills of old craftsmen. Moreover, Himachal Pradesh offers a mix of many cultures so we get a chance to see temples of other religions too like Buddhism.

TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Rooms Review (with Pictures)

Recently, I stayed in one of guest houses run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) in Tirumala. I did online booking for a single room under Rs 500 category from their online booking website www.ttdsevaonline.com. After reaching Tirumala, I did not get any problem in getting a room and system was very smooth so I got room allotment in just 5 minutes. Rooms under this category are average and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. In these rooms, TTD provide two beds with full bedding, two chairs and attached bathroom with Geyser. Room was clean when I entered my room; however, geyser in bathroom was not working plus pillows were not completely clean. Otherwise, it was one of best and economical arrangement available in front of people for stay in Tirumula. Rooms are available in the category of Rs 100, Rs 150, Rs 300, Rs 500 (non AC) and Rs 750, Rs 1000, Rs 3000 (AC). All these rooms can be easily booked online by visiting TTD online booking website (www.ttdsevaonline.com). People from

Beautiful Mahakaleshwar Pandoi Devta ji Temple at Pandoa (Shimla)

You are aware of my road trip on the stretch Nalagrah-Ramshehr-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri -ANNI. When from Basantpur-Tatapani Road, we take a right turn on MDR 22 towards Luhri and Rampur then we follow the Satluj river continuously and get a chance to see communities living near Satluj river and in this valley. We also get a chance to see their culture and beliefs. Today, I am going to talk about the Pandoi Devta temple situated just a few meters away from this road at Pandoa village. Himachal Pradesh can be known as a place of thousands of deities; therefore, we say it the land of Gods. This temple is not visible from the road and you need to take an unpaved road that is 300 meters long to reach this temple. Pandoi Devta temple is a set of one main temple and two Kothis.  At this place, we can find the same style of Shivlinga as we find at the Ujjain; therefore, this place is also known as Mahakaleshwar Pandoi Devta ji Shahib. It is believed that this Shivlinga was created by Pandavas dur

The Golden Temple Pictures and My Visit to most Beautiful Gurdawara (Temple) in world

The Golden Temple  There is no doubt that The Golden Temple  is also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the most beautiful Temple in the world. The Golden Temple got its name from the gold used to cover its outer walls, which gives it a great shine during the day and night. The Golden Temple is the mecca of Sikhism or the holiest place on earth for all Sikhs. I have visited this place a few times and always found it dipped in the love of de votio n. The main Gurdwara at the Golden T emple is surrounded by a water tank and there is only one way to reach there. Light Bulbs in Line at the Top of Golden Temple Amritsar  This design makes it unique and peaceful. At night Golden Temple even looks more beautiful because of lights reflecting from the gold walls. The Golden Temple is situated in the middle of Amritsar city and anyone can reach here easily. Every day more than 1 Lakh devotees visit this place, therefore, we can see a great of people. To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar (Pics of Beautiful Scenery on the Way and my Experience)

I always love to travel by the roads less travelled because by doing so I get a chance to see things which are still hidden from the most of people. On my single day journey to Shimla from Ropar (Punjab) for some work, I decided to travel on the State Highway 16 by following the route Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar instead of going through the National Highway (NH) 5. Not only this route was shorter by 40 KMs, but I was also expecting some adventure on the way. This journey become a quite exciting and thrilling because I was travelling on this route in the month of July on a rainy day. Though, I was aware that this is a single road and I may face landslides if rain continued. Still, I was ready for the adventure and I started my journey early in the morning on Tata Indigo eCS. Till nalagarh, I faced heavy rain but rain slowed down as I crossed Nalagarh. The weather was very fine and it was drizzling throughout the journey.
