History and Travel Information Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu)

Rameshwaram is a famous temple town situated on the southern tip of India. This city is also known as Varanasi of South. Rameshwaram town has a great place in Hindu religion because famous Shiva temple is present in this city which is believed to be made by Lord Ram and his wife Sita with Sand. After returning from Sri Lanka, Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva for clarifying his sin of Brahmin death because Ravana was considered a Brahmin. Therefore, Lord Rama meditated here to please Lord Shiva and cleared his sins. Around Rameshwaram, people can find many places of religious interest. Rameshwaram is also believed to be a place from where Lord Rama constructed a floating bridge over Sea to reach Sri Lanka.   Last time, I shared my experience of the journey to Shimla through Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar road . Today, I will discuss with you the Nalagarh-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri road which offers a great thrill to adventure seekers. I have been to Nalagarh many times but I traveled on the Nalagrah-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri stretch for the first time. Nalagarh-Ramshehr-Kunihar road is also a delight for adventure seekers because it is a single road and offers some challenges to drivers. However when we take a turn to Arki and moves towards Basantpur then the level of excitement increases many times.  I started from Ropar and moved on NH 205 till Ghanauli and then took turns to Nalagarh road. Beauty of Nature

Today, I got the chance to relax in the lawn outside my room. It was a blessing in disgust. As, a developing country, many states in India experience sever shortage of light in summers. In power cut, I have no choice but to go outside and sit on the grass. It was really an amazing experience for me, when I slept on the green grass, small grass started giving me a pinching affect same like aqua puncture. I was in the open sky after a long time.
