Maa Vaishno Devi visit and Pictures








It is always a very great experience to visit Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in J&K and this time also, I am feeling very relaxed and energetic after getting the blessings of Maa Vaishno. Every year, Lakhs of Vaishno Devi devotees come to visit shrine from various parts of India and world. Last year, approximately 85 lakh people visited the shrine to show their respect for Devi Vaishno, all this clearly show the faith of Indian people on the Goddess Vaishno Devi. It is very easy for any person to visit Mata Vaishno Devi and there are multiple options for reaching temple. Devotees are first required to reach katra town which is 52 KM away from Jammu Town. Direct bus services are available to Katra from all major North Indian towns and capital New Delhi. Nearest Railway station and airport are situated in Jammu; though, Katra-Jammu railway line is likely to become operational soon. For visiting shrine, people reach Katra town in J&K from where shrine is just 12 KM away.   Last time, I shared my experience of the journey to Shimla through Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar road . Today, I will discuss with you the Nalagarh-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri road which offers a great thrill to adventure seekers. I have been to Nalagarh many times but I traveled on the Nalagrah-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri stretch for the first time. TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Rooms Review (with Pictures)

Recently, I stayed in one of guest houses run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) in Tirumala. I did online booking for a single room under Rs 500 category from their online booking website www.ttdsevaonline.com. After reaching Tirumala, I did not get any problem in getting a room and system was very smooth so I got room allotment in just 5 minutes. Rooms under this category are average and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. In these rooms, TTD provide two beds with full bedding, two chairs and attached bathroom with Geyser. Room was clean when I entered my room; however, geyser in bathroom was not working plus pillows were not completely clean. Otherwise, it was one of best and economical arrangement available in front of people for stay in Tirumula. Rooms are available in the category of Rs 100, Rs 150, Rs 300, Rs 500 (non AC) and Rs 750, Rs 1000, Rs 3000 (AC).
