Beauty of Nature

Today, I got the chance to relax in the lawn outside my room. It was a blessing in disgust. As, a developing country, many states in India experience sever shortage of light in summers. In power cut, I have no choice but to go outside and sit on the grass. It was really an amazing experience for me, when I slept on the green grass, small grass started giving me a pinching affect same like aqua puncture.

I was in the open sky after a long time. I have forgotten about the nature and its beauty. Even in sizzling heat, I was much comfortable under the shadow of a medium sized tree. Cool breeze was blowing from all sides. For few minutes, I thought how unfortunate I was to miss all this.

I have forgotten about nature in my day to day busy life. Cities are becoming more and more concrete houses only. Pollution, noise and running people here and there is a reality. Whereas on the other hand nature is so cool and full of energy. Nature is so calm and relaxing that it looks nature is doing some meditation. In today’s world, we are becoming more and more away from nature.

There are some people who are fortunate enough to have big house with surrounding gardens but unfortunately they have no time to enjoy them. Even the story of public parks and gardens is same; we can only mostly see children and old people wondering here. I have only one question, how we can alienate nature when nature is so beautiful. I therefore request you all to enjoy nature and help it to grow.

Journey to Hill Station Paneu (Paneo) and Naag Temple (Lesser Known Gem of Hills)

I always love to visit hilltops because they provide the ultimate beauty and adventure. My journeys to Hatu Peak Narkanda ,  Prashar Lake in Mandi , and to the ancient wooden temple of Skhati Devi in Chhatrari  are some of its examples. This time, I got a chance to visit an ancient Naag Temple situated at Paneu (Paneo) hill station where a British rest house is situated. This hill station and Naag temple are situated 7 KM away from Kungash in Anni Tehsil of Kullu. The ancient Naag Temple is situated at walking distance from the main top and gets a chance to walk through the tall (some are around 50 feet of height) deodar (Pine) Trees. The last six-kilometer road to the Paneo is not metaled and it is very narrow at some points accompanied by a steep climb. This area is predominately an apple-growing belt and we can find many apple orchids on the way.  Around the temple, we can find a small pond that gets its water from rain. The temple also resembles the famous Kamro...

Sidh Baba Garibnath Temple, Androli (Una, India)

I love to cover temples of Himachal Pradesh and Today, I will share with you a beautiful temple situated on the bank of the Govind Sagar Lake near Androli village of Himachal Pradesh, we can find this Shiva temple. It got its name of Sidh baba Garibnath because of a Saint with a similar name who meditated at this place. The unique thing about this temple is that it becomes inaccessible during the monsoon due to a rise in the water levels of Govind Sagar Lake. On any ordinary day, we can reach this temple by road, however, during the rainy season when the water level rises then we need the help of boats to reach this temple. This temple looks beautiful in all conditions whether it is submerged in water or out of water. When the temple is out of the water then it offers a very scenic view of Gobind Sagar lake. Every time, you visit this temple, you can find a different view because of the different water levels in the Gobind Sagar lake.  Image Source - wikimedia  Image Source -...

Do enjoy Best Sea Food of Andaman and Nicobar Islands

People who love sea food and want to enjoy best and fresh sea food then Andaman and Nicobar Islands are waiting for them. During my stay in Andaman and Nicobar, I enjoyed tasty and mouth-watering sea food and I still miss this taste. I ate popular local Andaman fish (only found in Andaman Nicobar islands), a Lobster and prawns curry. People can also enjoy other sea food varieties in Andaman like Crabs and other varieties of fishes. Sea food is very economical in Andaman and Nicobar because of presence of sea around it. Mostly, people get fresh sea food to eat because of good consumption and demand of sea food. When I ordered Lobster for dinner then they first brought three lobsters alive to me and asked me to choose one and after selection cooked one selected by me. Main thing about Adaman’s sea food is its freshness and unique taste which we miss in other parts of world. We can see fishermen fishing and capturing fresh fishes and other sea creatures around Andaman and Nicobar Islands....
