Pictures Kasauli (Himachal Pradesh)

Kasauli is a small hill station situated in Himachal Pradesh. Kasauli is a cantonment and it come under Solan district. Kasauli is situated just 65 KMs away from Chandigarh; therefore, it becomes quite easy to reach Kasauli as compared to other hill stations. Many parts of Kasauli comes under restricted area and one can’t take pictures like Hanuman Temple etc. The main attraction of Kasuali is its fine weather during summer season. Situated at hill top Kasauli is one of ideal place for peaceful holidays. Below watch some of Kasuali pictures from my recent visit.

To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar (Pics of Beautiful Scenery on the Way and my Experience)

I always love to travel by the roads less travelled because by doing so I get a chance to see things which are still hidden from the most of people. On my single day journey to Shimla from Ropar (Punjab) for some work, I decided to travel on the State Highway 16 by following the route Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar instead of going through the National Highway (NH) 5. Not only this route was shorter by 40 KMs, but I was also expecting some adventure on the way. This journey become a quite exciting and thrilling because I was travelling on this route in the month of July on a rainy day. Historical Shakti Devi Wooden Temple Read in Hindi My visit to Bharmour in Chamba was filled with lots of excitement and thrill because of the tough terrain and narrow roads. The most difficult drive was to reach Chhatrari to see the Historical Shakti Devi Temple. Chhatrari village is situated 40 KM from Chamba (HP) on the Chamba-Bharmour Road. Journey to Hill Station Paneu (Paneo) and Naag Temple (Lesser Known Gem of Hills)

I always love to visit hilltops because they provide the ultimate beauty and adventure. My journeys to Hatu Peak Narkanda , Prashar Lake in Mandi , and to the ancient wooden temple of Skhati Devi in Chhatrari are some of its examples. This time, I got a chance to visit an ancient Naag Temple situated at Paneu (Paneo) hill station where a British rest house is situated. This hill station and Naag temple are situated 7 KM away from Kungash in Anni Tehsil of Kullu. The ancient Naag Temple is situated at walking distance from the main top and gets a chance to walk through the tall (some are around 50 feet of height) deodar (Pine) Trees. The last six-kilometer road to the Paneo is not metaled and it is very narrow at some points accompanied by a steep climb. In the previous post, I shared with information and pictures of the ancient Bhootnath Temple of Lord Shiva in Mandi town . Today, I will be giving you an opportunity to see the glimpse of famous and international Shivratri festival held every year in Mandi near the Bhootnath temple. This fair lasts for seven days and starts on the Shivratri day. This fair is attending by hundreds of local deities and millions of people from across the world. It was a great experience for me to attend this fair because I never saw such fair before in my life. If anyone wants to get the glimpse of the life of Pahari people then he needs to visit this fair. Inside Shiva Temple I love to travel and therefore, often gets a chance to visit many places which I have not seen before. India is a country of Temples and we can find many temples around us.
