Does Airasia Airline is really a cheap Airline?

Currently, we see many attractive low fare advertisements by Low budget airline Air Asia. These advertisements look like Rs 4500 fare for New Delhi – Bangkok flight, Rs 6500 for New Delhi- Kuala Lumpur etc. In advertisements, these fare look very attractive and reasonable; however, when we try to book tickets on their website then we fail to find such low cost tickets because availability of very few low cost tickets. Moreover, these tickets are not very affordable tickets as we do not get numbers of facilities like free food, entertainment solution etc on these airlines.

Recently, I tried to book two tickets from New Delhi to Bangkok on Airasia.com and it showed me price of Rs 29500 for return tickets for two person while fare of Kingfisher Airlines for same New Delhi – Bangkok flight for two person was Rs 31000 only. So in net, I was getting discount of Rs 1500 for booking ticket on Airasia minus free services. Here I want to make point that most of these airlines are not cheap airlines as they claim themselves.

For these airlines, People are required to book their tickets six month to one year before to get cheap tickets and second, these airlines do not refund money back in case of flight delay or cancellation of tickets. Airaisa airline may make big claims; however, it is not a very cheap airline.

My Journey to Masroor Rock Cut Temples (Kangra, Himachal Pradesh) with Pictures and Review

In this post, I am going to share the experience of my recent visit to famous Rock Cut Temples in Masroor Village of Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. This village is about 38 KM away from Kangra Town and here we can see 15 rock-cut temples in Indo-Aryan style. I came to know about this place through the pictures of a friend on Facebook. This place looked very attractive in pictures so I decided to visit this place. I took the route through Dehra town situated at the bank of Beas river. The disadvantage of taking this route is poor road conditions. It is around 35 KM from Dehra. After a journey of one hour from Dehra, I reached the Masroor Rock Cut Temple site. When you reach the temple site, then you first see the backside of the temples.                                                          Masroor Rock Cut Temples Th...

To Village Showad, Anni (Kullu) by Nalagarh-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri road (Pictures and Videos on the way)

Last time, I shared my experience of the journey to Shimla through Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar road . Today, I will discuss with you the Nalagarh-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri road which offers a great thrill to adventure seekers. I have been to Nalagarh many times but I traveled on the Nalagrah-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri stretch for the first time. Nalagarh-Ramshehr-Kunihar road is also a delight for adventure seekers because it is a single road and offers some challenges to drivers. However when we take a turn to Arki and moves towards Basantpur then the level of excitement increases many times.  I started from Ropar and moved on NH 205 till Ghanauli and then took turns to Nalagarh road. The condition of this road from Ghanauli to Himachal entry point is very bad and then after the road is fine. After reaching Nalagarh, I took the State highway no. 16 towards Ramshehar. It is a single road but the works for its widening are taking place simultaneously. From Ramshehar, I continued on the S...

Recently, I stayed in one of guest houses run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) in Tirumala. I did online booking for a single room under Rs 500 category from their online booking website www.ttdsevaonline.com. Otherwise, it was one of best and economical arrangement available in front of people for stay in Tirumula. To Shimla by Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar (Pics of Beautiful Scenery on the Way and my Experience)

I always love to travel by the roads less travelled because by doing so I get a chance to see things which are still hidden from the most of people. On my single day journey to Shimla from Ropar (Punjab) for some work, I decided to travel on the State Highway 16 by following the route Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar instead of going through the National Highway (NH) 5. Not only this route was shorter by 40 KMs, but I was also expecting some adventure on the way. This journey become a quite exciting and thrilling because I was travelling on this route in the month of July on a rainy day. Though, I was aware that this is a single road and I may face landslides if rain continued. Still, I was ready for the adventure and I started my journey early in the morning on Tata Indigo eCS. Till nalagarh, I faced heavy rain but rain slowed down as I crossed Nalagarh. The weather was very fine and it was drizzling throughout the journey. Beautiful Scenery on the Way I saw many new places o...

About Mandi City (Himachal Pradesh)

We always have numbers of memories associated with the town or place where we are born; similarly, I have many memories associated with my birthplace i.e. Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh. Old name of Mandi is Mandav Nagar and it is also known as Sahor. Mandi is a city situated on the bank of river the Beas and it is surrounded from all sides by the hills. Mandi is also known as the Kashi (a famous temple town of India situated in Varanasi (UP)) of Himachal Pradesh. There are around 81 historical temples in Mandi which represent many Shiva forms.  Mandi has hundreds of new and old temples which include many renowned old stone temples constructed by Pandvas. Mandi is a gateway to Kullu vellay because everyone has to pass through Mandi to reach Kulu or Manali. Indira Market-Square is a popular market place of Mandi (can be seen in Photograph). I have lots of my childhood memories attached with Mandi. Every year in summer vacations we used to come here for spending our vacations.  ...
