My Love for Vacations

Different people have different kinds of hobbies and like these people; I do have one such hobby which always motivates me to travel a lot. This hobby is desire to spend many and many more beautiful vacations around the year. Good vacations are great source for rejuvenating yourselves and enjoying life; so, I always look for any opportunity to spend great vacations with my loved ones. Enjoyment in any vacation increases many times when we are accompanied by our loved ones on these vacations.

Travelling alone is not so much fun as travelling with family because our family members increase our happiness many times. It is important for all of us to look for all opportunities available in front of us to spend good vacations together with family. We are fortunate enough to be born in a country which offers many places to visit and every state of India offers a unique beauty. Therefore, Indians can enjoy great vacations without even visiting abroad.

Though, visiting abroad has also become very cheap thanks to cheap international airlines and many great deals and discounts offered by airlines and travel agencies. Recently, I am back from great vacation spent in beautiful surroundings of Ooty and Coonoor. In future, I too look towards many such great vacations with my loved ones. I can suggest to anyone who is suffering from sadness to go on a good vacation for adding happiness again in life.

TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Rooms Review (with Pictures)

Recently, I stayed in one of guest houses run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) in Tirumala. I did online booking for a single room under Rs 500 category from their online booking website www.ttdsevaonline.com. After reaching Tirumala, I did not get any problem in getting a room and system was very smooth so I got room allotment in just 5 minutes. Rooms under this category are average and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. In these rooms, TTD provide two beds with full bedding, two chairs and attached bathroom with Geyser. Room was clean when I entered my room; however, geyser in bathroom was not working plus pillows were not completely clean. Otherwise, it was one of best and economical arrangement available in front of people for stay in Tirumula. Rooms are available in the category of Rs 100, Rs 150, Rs 300, Rs 500 (non AC) and Rs 750, Rs 1000, Rs 3000 (AC). Chamunda Mata Temple Shakti Peeth (Pictures and Detail)

  On the foot of dhauladhar hills in Kangra district, we can find the Chamunda Mata Temple. This temple is just 19 KM away from Palampur and 25 KM away from Kangra and it is situated on the Dharamshala - Palampur highway. It is a very famous temple of Maa Chamunda and every year millions of devotees visit this place from different parts of India. The temple is situated in a very beautiful location and we can find an ancient Shivalinga beneath a big rock. At present, this temple is going through the work of renovation for the last few years and we can hope to see the completion of work fast.  During the Navratras, we can see a great rush of devotees. Beautiful Mahakaleshwar Pandoi Devta ji Temple at Pandoa (Shimla)

 You are aware of my road trip on the stretch Nalagrah-Ramshehr-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri -ANNI. When from Basantpur-Tatapani Road, we take a right turn on MDR 22 towards Luhri and Rampur then we follow the Satluj river continuously and get a chance to see communities living near Satluj river and in this valley. We also get a chance to see their culture and beliefs. Today, I am going to talk about the Pandoi Devta temple situated just a few meters away from this road at Pandoa village. Himachal Pradesh can be known as a place of thousands of deities; therefore, we say it the land of Gods. This temple is not visible from the road and you need to take an unpaved road that is 300 meters long to reach this temple. About Mandi City (Himachal Pradesh)

We always have numbers of memories associated with the town or place where we are born; similarly, I have many memories associated with my birthplace i.e. Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh. Old name of Mandi is Mandav Nagar and it is also known as Sahor. Mandi is a city situated on the bank of river the Beas and it is surrounded from all sides by the hills. Mandi is also known as the Kashi (a famous temple town of India situated in Varanasi (UP)) of Himachal Pradesh.
