No complimentary Food on Kingfisher Red flights too

Kingfisher Red is a low cost airline service from premium airline Kingfisher of India. Kingfisher Airlines after buying popular low cost airline Air Deccan integrated it with its low cost service Kingfisher Red. This low cost service from Kingfisher connects many small cities of India with Metro cities. To attract more travellers to its Kingfisher Red flights and to give its service a distinguished look, Kingfisher was offering free meal on its Kingfisher Red flights.

However, company has now discontinued complimentary meal on its all Kingfisher Red flights with effect from 15 Jan, 2011. Though, it has started paid service with the name of Sky Treats and travellers can buy desired food on board. It looks that Kingfisher Red wants to follow footsteps of other successful low cost airlines and it is looking for some cost cutting.

Last time, I shared my experience of the journey to Shimla through Nalagarh-Ramshehar-Kunihar road . Today, I will discuss with you the Nalagarh-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri road which offers a great thrill to adventure seekers. I have been to Nalagarh many times but I traveled on the Nalagrah-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri stretch for the first time. Nalagarh-Ramshehr-Kunihar road is also a delight for adventure seekers because it is a single road and offers some challenges to drivers. However when we take a turn to Arki and moves towards Basantpur then the level of excitement increases many times. I started from Ropar and moved on NH 205 till Ghanauli and then took turns to Nalagarh road. The condition of this road from Ghanauli to Himachal entry point is very bad and then after the road is fine. After reaching Nalagarh, I took the State highway no. 16 towards Ramshehar. TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) Rooms Review (with Pictures)

Recently, I stayed in one of guest houses run by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) in Tirumala. I did online booking for a single room under Rs 500 category from their online booking website www.ttdsevaonline.com. After reaching Tirumala, I did not get any problem in getting a room and system was very smooth so I got room allotment in just 5 minutes. Rooms under this category are average and can accommodate 2 to 5 people. In these rooms, TTD provide two beds with full bedding, two chairs and attached bathroom with Geyser. Room was clean when I entered my room; however, geyser in bathroom was not working plus pillows were not completely clean. Otherwise, it was one of best and economical arrangement available in front of people for stay in Tirumula. Rooms are available in the category of Rs 100, Rs 150, Rs 300, Rs 500 (non AC) and Rs 750, Rs 1000, Rs 3000 (AC). You are aware of my road trip on the stretch Nalagrah-Ramshehr-Arki-Basantpur-Luhri -ANNI. When from Basantpur-Tatapani Road, we take a right turn on MDR 22 towards Luhri and Rampur then we follow the Satluj river continuously and get a chance to see communities living near Satluj river and in this valley.
